The History of Mathematics

I first fell in love with mathematics when I read a book called "Journey Through Genius". This book looked at some of the greatest mathematicians and the famous problems that they solved. After reading this book, I decided to create a YouTube channel and share this information with as many people as possible.

This first playlist focuses on Eulcid's Elements, the oldest known mathematical book. This book has been printed more times than any other book besides the bible. Studying this book is one of the best ways to understand logic.

Here is the YouTube link to the playlist.

This next playlist looks at some of the most famous problems or ideas in the history of mathematics. The playlist starts with the Basel problem which was eventually solved by Leonhard Euler 100 years after the question was posed.

Some of these videos were made several years ago before I purchased a higher quality microphone, so the sound might be poor.

Here is the YouTube link to the playlist.
